A few rule changes and a few notes

Hello everybody!

I wanted to tell you about a few rule changes we're applying, mainly to keep the group dedicated to art created digitally and where the final result is strictly digital. Because of this, we're implementing these modifications:

1. We are no longer accepting photography.
There are many awesome groups on dA dedicated strictly to photography that I think are better fitted for photographs.
However, we will keep the group open to photomanipulations, don't worry about that!

2. We will not accept stuff created using digital tools but where the final purpose is not a digital one. This includes, for instance, t-shirt designs, pin/buttons designs, etc...

Everything else remains the same.

Now, on to the notes.


Remember to submit your deviations into the correct folder. I spent 45 minutes last Saturday moving wrongly submitted deviations into the correct folders, and I'm not done yet
Submitting to the right folder not only helps the group be more organised, it also helps you display your art to the correct people. For instance, if any deviant steps by our gallery looking for photomanipulations, they most likely won't take a look at the 3D folder, so, if you put a photomanip there it will likely go unnoticed to someone who would like it


Do not submit art that does not belong to you. We immdiately decline those and if, by mistake, we accept any we will immediately withdraw the permission request.


There is something I'd like to mention about our gallery being closed on Mondays and Fridays.
Mondays and Fridays are relative. o.O Why? Because we don't all live in the same time zones. So, Mondays and Fridays here mean obviously Mondays and Fridays where the girl that operates the Admin area lives... who is that? Hehe, me So, as I'm in Argentina my time zone is UTC-3

Why am I rambling about this? Because we get from time to time a comment or a note saying "It's Saturday 9 am and I can't submit anything. Isn't the gallery closed on Fridays but not Saturdays?". Well, I open the galleries as soon as I wake up on Saturdays and as soon as I get to work on Tuesdays, which is usually 9 am my time.
So, if you try to submit and there's no + button available, please, try again later. Chances are you'll be able to submit then!!
